Hon. Engr. Nwaobi represents the Aniocha North Constituency and was appointed Majority Leader in June 2023 for the 8th Assembly. He holds a B.Sc. in Political Science (Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma) and an M.Sc. in Political Science (Delta State University, Abraka).
Hon. Victor Ochei is an engineer, lawyer, businessman and politician. Born 25 February 1969 in Kano State, Nigeria, he hails from Onicha Olona in Aniocha North LGA of Delta State. He studied Chemical Engineering at University of Benin, Benin City, and later earned an MBA (1996) and certificates in governance and educational improvement (Oxford, Harvard etc.) through professional development. Prior to his legislative career he founded DavNotch Nigeria Limited, an engineering-consultancy business, and engaged in printing and memorabilia business in Asaba, Delta State. In 2003 he was elected to the Delta State House of Assembly for Aniocha North. He served as Deputy Minority Leader and later as Chairman of the House Committee on Education before his colleagues elected him Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly on 6 June 2011. His speakership lasted for approximately 2 years and 9 months, up to his resignation in March 2014.
Hon. Anwuzia serves as the member for Aniocha South Constituency. He is the Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Peace and Security.
Hon. Marilyn Okowa-Daramola is a lawyer and former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Girl-Child Empowerment who was elected to represent Ika North-East in 2023. Prior to elective office she worked in youth/girl-child empowerment and civil society programs such as Project GEST.
Hon. Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri holds a B.Sc in Economics from Ambrose Alli University and an M.Sc in Economics from the University of Lagos. He served as Chairman of the Delta State House of Assembly Committee on Public Accounts during his time.
Hon. Osamuta is the member for Ndokwa East Constituency and holds the role of Deputy Majority Whip in the Assembly. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Osanebi was first elected as a state lawmaker representing the Ndokwa East Constituency in 2011, making him the youngest legislator in the Delta State House of Assembly at the time. He was re-elected in 2015 and 2019, serving three terms in total. During his time in the House of Assembly, he held various positions, including Chairman of the House Committee on the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Deputy Chief Whip, and ultimately, the Deputy Speaker of the House from 2015 to 2019. In 2022, he was announced as the running mate and deputy governorship candidate for Senator Ovie Omo-Agege under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform for the 2023 Delta State gubernatorial election. He also established the Friday Osanebi Foundation (FOF) to provide scholarships and support to students. He holds a degree in Material and Metallurgical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). He also reportedly studied law at the University of Kaduna.
Rt. Hon. Dr. Olisa E. Imegwu is a veteran Delta State legislator – he was in the Assembly from the start of the Fourth Republic. He was a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly (2007-2011). He holds a B.A., M.P.A. (Master of Public Administration), and a Ph.D., all earned in the United States; he lectured as an Assistant Professor at Southern University, New Orleans, before joining politics.
Hon. Okoh represents Ika South Constituency and serves as Deputy Majority Leader of the Assembly.
Sonni Akpenyi represented Ika South. 1992 -1993 under SDP Social Democratic Party and again from 1999 to 2003 under PDP, where he rose to become the Majority Leader of the House. He held the title Dein Eme of Agbor Kingdom. He died in 2011.
Hon. Charles Emetulu currently represents Ndokwa West in the Delta State House of Assembly and serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Education. First elected in 2019 and returned in 2023, Emetulu is credited in local reporting with sponsoring multiple bills and carrying out quiet, constituency-focused projects — especially in education (school renovations, ICT centres, WAEC fee support).
Hon. Azuka Azaka is a well-reported former member who represented Ndokwa West for multiple terms. Chief Emeke Adibeli Ukpe was a prominent Ndokwa West politician — he served as Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government and as a member of the Delta State House of Assembly for Ndokwa West. He remained a notable PDP stalwart in the area until his death (reported October 2024).
Chief Aneke Ifemeni is a veteran politician of Ndokwa/Ukwuani extraction and the pioneer Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly — a founding figure in the state legislature who remained influential in Ndokwa politics for decades. Hon. Barr. Esenwah serves the Oshimili North Constituency. He is in the legal professional.
Princess Pat Ajudua is a long-serving Oshimili North legislator and experienced parliamentarian — she has held leadership roles in the Assembly (Chief Whip, committee chairmanships) and chaired key committees including Judiciary and Special Bills/Agriculture & Natural Resources. A lawyer and educator by background, she holds multiple degrees (LL.B., LL.M., MBA and doctorate credentials) and has been active in women’s affairs, social development and local empowerment programmes.
Dr. Felicia Nwaeze was one of the earliest female members of the Delta State House of Assembly representing Oshimili North after the return to democracy in 1999. A career educator and former Principal (Principal Merit Grade) and academic, she contributed to education and local governance debates in the Assembly and served as Deputy Majority Leader at one point.
Hon. Anyafulu is the member representing Oshimili South Constituency. She chairs the House Committee on Housing and Women’s Affairs.
Hon. Dafe represents Ukwuani Constituency.
Alphonsus served as Chairman of the House Committee on Health. Hon. Alphonsus won on the DPP platform but later decamped to PDP. Outside the legislature, Alphonsus remains active in public service and governance issues. As of 2025 he is publicly referenced as a “Consultant on Health Matters” for the Delta State government.
